Twilight Fair a Success

The Twilight Fair on Friday 23rd October was a huge success raising $8,800.00. The combined efforts of the Parent Fundraising Association, teachers and volunteers ensured the evening was a success by stepping forward and assisting with the stalls and activities on the evening. Thank you to all helpers.
Badger Pride Program
Thursday, October 29th, 2009As part of this program, our school has received $125,000.00 from the National School Pride project, to be known as ‘The Badger Pride Program’. With these funds we have achieved the following projects:
Full exterior of the school repainted.
Replacement of the schools picket fence.
New retaining walls on the lower asphalt court.

New Early Years Learning Centre
Friday, June 26th, 2009We will be gaining a new Early Years Learning Centre under the Federal Governments Building the Education Revolution program. This will mean new classrooms for our Preps and Grades 1 and 2 with space for resources and small teaching groups. Construction is expected to begin in July.

Badger Wins Landcare Award
Thursday, June 25th, 2009The Westpac Landcare Education Award was won by Badger Creek. It is in recognition of the school’s achievements through Karen Garth and Coral Jeffs efforts in raising awareness, knowledge and understanding of Landcare among students and implementing Landcare practices.
